Great to meet you!

My name is Nia Walters, LMHC and I focus on helping individuals and couples navigate life’s complexities, including stress management, relationship dynamics, and personal growth. I've been practicing therapy for several years and work primarily with adults on a range of issues.

My approach to therapy

My approach is grounded in helping clients develop a deeper understanding of their thoughts, feelings, and relationship patterns, allowing them to make more intentional and empowered choices. I am certified in Dialectal Behavioral Therapy and have extensive practice with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. When working with client, I try to gain a better understanding of who they are and their needs to create a better experience.

What you can expect from me

My clients can expect to leave sessions with practical tools to improve self-awareness, communication, and emotional regulation or some relief. I want my clients to walk away feeling confident enough to take on whatever life brings them.
