Great to meet you!

I’m Niambi Bloom, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, milspouse, mom of two, and dog mom. I specialize in supporting women through the highs and lows of pregnancy and postpartum; helping them manage anxiety, depression, stress and life transitions. My practice is a safe, supportive space where you can reconnect with yourself and feel empowered as you navigate parenthood.I earned my BA in Psychology from New York University and went on to complete my MSSW at Columbia University, focusing on Clinical Social Work in Health, Mental Health, and Disabilities. Over the years, I’ve worked in crisis settings, supported families as a birth doula, and taught cultural competency to future providers.

My approach to therapy

My approach

I offer a safe, non-judgmental space where you can share your experiences and find support. My therapeutic style incorporates DBT, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and strengths-based approaches—all delivered with trauma-informed care and cultural competency. I also integrate mindfulness techniques to support mind-body connection.

My focus

I support moms in pregnancy and early postpartum who feel overwhelmed, anxious, or disconnected. I work with women navigating motherhood's complex emotions and trying to remember who they are beyond "mom." Together, we manage negative thoughts, build confidence, and reconnect with your identity.

My communication style

My communication style is warm, supportive, and easy-going. I create a space where you feel safe, heard, and truly seen—never judged. I'm empathetic and validating, meeting you where you are with compassion. Whether you're sharing heavy emotions or needing someone to talk things through with, I'm here to listen and support you.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is about getting to know each other and helping you feel comfortable. We'll discuss what brings you to therapy, your family, and anything you're ready to share. It's a time to build rapport and begin shaping your goals together. We go at your pace, and my priority is making sure you feel supported, heard, and safe.
