Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master of Social Work and a Master of Public Health. I work with Black, Indigenous, and people of color, with women, and with gender minorities — and I have a particular home with trans and nonbinary clients. I built my practice around identity-centered care because I know what it's like to need a therapist you don't have to explain the basics of your life to. You won't have to do that here. We can start with the actual work.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, affirming, and honest. I won't ask you to shrink yourself to be understood, and I won't pretend the world outside the room isn't part of what brought you in. I pay attention to the whole picture — your history, your body, the systems you're moving through — because the personal and the political usually aren't two separate things. Mostly, I follow your lead. You're the expert on your life. I'm here to help you read it more clearly.

What you can expect from me

The first session is low-pressure. There's nothing you need to prepare or perform. We'll talk about what's bringing you in, what you're hoping for, and whether we feel like a good fit — that last part matters, and there's no wrong answer. My goal is for you to leave feeling a little more seen than when you arrived. From there, we build at your pace.
