Great to meet you!

Welcome!

If intense emotions or panic attacks are keeping you from expressing your best self, you’ve found the right place! I help people understand their mental health and personality, so that they can find what helps best, and enjoy their lives.

Some key areas that I work well with are: high levels of anxiety, panic attacks, health anxiety, trauma (especially trauma caused by other people), depression, insomnia, and physical issues that impact mental health. Some key traits that I help people

A little about me: I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the lovely state of Colorado. I have been in practice for well over a decade and have supported people navigating difficult circumstances and changes while they were also managing their mental health and relationships.

My approach to therapy

I use a collaborative & compassionate approach to help you make sense of what’s been challenging, and how the mind-body connection and society impact your experience of life. This means that I integrate many of the common therapy approaches and adapt them to fit your needs and preferences.

If you're also struggling with physical health issues, we can talk about how to use your mind-body connection for healing.

Some therapy approaches that I use include person-centered, compassion-focused, mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), skills training (including DBT), psychoeducation (yay learning about mental health!), solution-focused, systems therapies, and health psychology.

What you can expect from me

During our first meeting, we'll start to get to know each other. This is a conversation where we talk about a lot of what's been affecting your mental health and what's happened to bring you here to therapy.

The biggest question people struggle with, at first, is "What would better feel like or look like for you?" I ask it because the answer takes shape over time, as people start to feel better and make sense of what they really want.
