Great to meet you!

I am a licensed professional counselor, practicing since 2021 and I specialize in helping young adults navigate difficult life transitions as well as with the trauma focused counseling. As we grow and face the world, so too grows the number of challenges and responsibilities we face. And with this increase comes the possibility for new anxieties, new depression, and new traumas to arise. Often we can be left feeling unprepared because life rarely gives us a roadmap to dealing with these complex issues. Together, we will work to start building that roadmap.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in trauma, anxiety, depression and difficult life transitions. I typically work with clients aged 18-30 taking their first steps into adulthood. I use an integrated approach pulling from both cognitive behavioral and psychodynamic theories which allows me to tailor my treatment to each of my client's unique therapeutic needs. I am also trained in Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) for clients facing PTSD.

What you can expect from me

During the intake process, we will take the time to get to know each other before diving into more challenging topics. I understand that starting therapy can be a daunting task, and I believe that humor can be an invaluable therapeutic tool. I strive to make our sessions light-hearted and enjoyable to balance the serious issues we will address. Progress will be measured by achieving the goals we mutually agree upon. I particularly enjoy working with clients who are trying to find their own path through adulthood and seeking guidance on their journey through this transitional phase.
