Great to meet you!

Hi Thank you for taking the first step in starting therapy it can feel like a big step, and finding someone you feel comfortable with is an important part of that process. I strive to create a warm, supportive, and judgment-free space where you can feel heard, understood, and accepted for who you are.

I earned my Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Iona College and have experience working with diverse populations in outpatient clinical settings.

I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, and relationship concerns, as well as those navigating life changes and personal challenges. Together, we can explore what may be holding you back, develop healthier coping strategies, strengthen self-awareness, and work toward building a life that feels more fulfilling and manageable.

You don’t have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or simply looking for a space to better understand yourself, I’m here to meet you with compassion and without judgment. My goal is to help you feel supported, empowered, and more confident in navigating life’s challenges.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is person-centered, compassionate, and collaborative. I believe that every individual has their own unique experiences, strengths, and goals, so I tailor therapy to meet you where you are rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.

I strive to create a safe and nonjudgmental environment where you can feel comfortable being open and honest. Together, we will explore your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and experiences while identifying patterns and developing coping strategies that feel realistic and meaningful to you.

I believe that meaningful change takes time, and I will support you at a pace that feels comfortable. My goal is not only to help you work through current challenges, but also to help you build greater self-awareness, confidence, and the skills needed to navigate life with a stronger sense of balance and well-being.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my goal is to help you feel comfortable, heard, and supported. We’ll take some time to get to know each other and talk about what brought you to therapy, what you may be experiencing, and what you hope to gain from the process.

I’ll ask questions about your current concerns, background, relationships, and any challenges you may be facing. This is also an opportunity for you to ask questions, share what you need from therapy, and get a sense of whether we’re a good fit.

There is no expectation that you have everything figured out or know exactly what to talk about. We’ll take it one step at a time and work together to identify goals and create an approach that feels comfortable and meaningful for you. My priority is to provide a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where you can be yourself.
