I'm Nicholas (he/they), a queer psychotherapist who believes therapy should be a space where you feel seen, understood, and supported. I work with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, relationship concerns, and identity exploration. I am especially passionate about supporting LGBTQIA+ individuals, BIPOC communities, neurodivergent clients, and those impacted by marginalization.
I offer therapy in both English and Spanish.
My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and tailored to each client's unique needs and goals. I draw from evidence-based practices including CBT, DBT, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Motivational Interviewing to help clients build insight, strengthen coping skills, and create meaningful change. I believe healing happens through a combination of self-understanding, practical tools, and a strong therapeutic relationship. My goal is to help clients feel empowered, connected, and more aligned with their authentic selves.
Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and explore what brings you to therapy. We'll discuss your current concerns, personal history, strengths, and goals while moving at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental environment where you can show up authentically and feel heard. Together, we'll begin identifying how therapy can best support your growth and well-being.
