Great to meet you!

My name is Nicholas Hercules. I graduated with a Bachelors in Psychology and a Masters in Rehabilitation Counselor from West Virginia University. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida, and a Certified Addictions Professional. I am also certified to administer Moral Reconation Therapy.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I use cognitive behavioral therapy, moral reconation therapy, solution focused therapy, client-centered, and motivational interviewing. I have extensive experience working with a diverse population across all age groups and backgrounds. I have helped individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, negative self-talk, low self-esteem, mood instability, substance use, and challenging irrational beliefs.

What you can expect from our first session

Clients can expect to feel validated, listened to, and with a better sense of direction on moving forward after their first session. I offer a solution-focused approach to therapy. Within the first 3 sessions you can expect to have a detailed list of measurable treatment goals, so every week you can review and know where you are making progress.
