Great to meet you!

I specialize in Complex Trauma informed disorders and related challenges that include anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties and other issues that can be a barrier in understanding yourself and living a fulfilling life. I have over a decade of experience working in academic institutions and hospitals but am currently focused on treating individuals and couples in a private practice setting.

My approach to therapy

I primarily use psychodynamic theory and behaviorally informed treatments to support my clients. I value and respect each client’s unique and diverse experience.

What you can expect from me

Therapy is ultimately about you. I'm here to help you understand yourself and develop skills so that you can live a more rewarding and satisfying life. This is accomplished over time, through insight gained in therapy and behavior change practiced in your environment and in our time together. During therapy, we’ll remain curious as we address your specific concerns and any unhelpful patterns that may be confusing or contributing to the obstacles in your life. Importantly, we'll also identify and clarify your unique talents, strengths and abilities that you can utilize to help you work through the problems you are facing. Our relationship is a key component in this process and I look forward to getting to know you.
