Great to meet you!

I am interested in getting to know a clients’ story. I love understanding what events have shaped people and understanding how current behaviors and emotional response make sense given history. I work with my clients to understand how the past and present are connected in order to help them create a new path for themselves out of this understanding.

My approach to therapy

I foster a collaborative environment in my sessions such that the ideas of both the client and myself are present in order to find the best way to create change.

I utilize a variety of approaches in my therapy and tailor the approach to best fit the client across from me. Therapies include: EMDR, Motivational Interviewing, Ego state/IFS/Parts work, Schema therapy, Mindfulness techniques/MBSR, existentialism and DBT.

What you can expect from me

Better understanding of self and a better understanding of where they want to go
