Great to meet you!

I've worked at premiere facilities such as Hoag Hospital and the Betty Ford Clinic. Working with the underlying mental health issues which have driven addictive tendencies as a coping mechanism have been a specialty. I have experience working with veterans and their families, and I'm from a law enforcement family. I'm also part of the LGBTQIA+ community.

My approach to therapy

I believe we all have strengths which can be relied on to challenge defeating behaviors. I'm anchored in polyvagal theory which is understanding the correlation between anxiety and depression, and building a safe space in which one can see when these states start to set in.

What you can expect from me

No one is coming to therapy because things are great. This is what I respect and love about the relationship and seeing that change is possible. Your time is valuable and I want to give you the nudges and challenges to make you see progress. I've been told by clients that they appreciate my no-nonsense approach and calling out unhealthy behaviors. I am in long-term recovery and have navigated my own way towards significant life changes which leave me content.
