Great to meet you!

Hello, I'm Nick Wright, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) specializing in ADHD, anxiety, depression, and other mood disorders. With over a decade of healthcare experience spanning psychiatry, critical care, and medical-surgical nursing, I bring a comprehensive perspective to mental health care. I hold a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Mount Vernon Nazarene University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Xavier University, and a Master of Science in Nursing from West Coast University. My approach combines evidence-based medication management with supportive psychotherapy, emphasizing compassionate, individualized care that empowers you to feel heard, take an active role in your treatment, and work toward lasting improvements in your mental health and overall well-being.

My approach to therapy

I believe effective psychiatric care begins with truly listening to each patient and building a collaborative, trusting therapeutic relationship. My approach is holistic and individualized, recognizing the interconnectedness of mental, physical, and emotional well-being. Together, we will develop a treatment plan that aligns with your unique needs, goals, and values, incorporating evidence-based medication management and supportive psychotherapy to help you better understand yourself, navigate life’s challenges, and achieve lasting improvements in your well-being.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we will take the time to understand your concerns, explore your symptoms and treatment history, and identify the goals that matter most to you. Together, we will develop an individualized treatment plan tailored to your needs, whether that involves medication management, supportive psychotherapy, or a combination of both. My goal is for you to leave our session feeling heard, understood, and confident about the next steps in your care. As we work together, we will regularly assess your progress and adjust your treatment plan to support meaningful, lasting improvements in your mental health and overall well-being.
