Great to meet you!

I'm Nick! I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, depression, relationship issues, family conflicts, trauma and abuse, and much more. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey. I have been trained in various treatment models including CBT, DBT, TF-CBT, FCT, MI, and TBRI.

I have been a licensed therapist (LCSW) practicing in Indiana since 2019. I received my Masters in Social Work from Indiana Wesleyan University and my Bachelors in Social Work from the University of Saint Francis (where I also played soccer). I have spent most of my career working with adults, children, and families involved in child welfare. I have also worked in medical social work, inpatient psychiatric services, and private practice. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and pets. I also enjoy watching sports, reading regularly, and staying active.

My approach to therapy

When it comes to therapy, it is all about you. In our sessions I will take an individualized client-centered approach aimed at helping you get to where you want to be. We will work together through what is a priority to you and empower you to the change you want to see. I want your therapy to be fun and exciting, while at the same time staying focused on your progress.

What you can expect from me

The biggest goal of mine for clients to take away from sessions with me is growth. I want you to grow in knowledge and skills, grow in your confidence, and grow into the person you want to be and are meant to be. I hope you leave each session feeling like you are one step close to that improvement you desire.
