Great to meet you!

I know reaching out for therapy can feel intimidating—especially if you’ve tried before or aren’t sure where to start. I’ve spent years working with people at every stage of the healing process, from outpatient therapy to more intensive levels of care, and what I’ve learned is this: no two struggles look the same, and no one ends up here by accident. I work with individuals navigating substance use, mood challenges, and those moments in life where motivation disappears and everything feels harder than it should. I’m also deeply passionate about relationship dynamics of all kinds—romantic relationships, family systems, friendships, and the relationship we have with ourselves. My goal is to offer a space that feels safe, grounded, and genuinely human—where we can make sense of what’s happening and start building a path forward together

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is integrative and neuroscience-informed, drawing from modern brain science, the evolutionary development of the human nervous system, and insights from anthropology. I help clients understand why their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors make sense in the context of how the human brain evolved to prioritize survival.

A central focus of my work is the motivational triad—the brain’s core drives to seek pleasure, avoid pain, and conserve energy. I help clients identify how these natural drives can unintentionally reinforce patterns such as addiction, depression, anxiety, and burnout. Together, we build practical skills that work with the brain rather than against it, improving motivation, emotional regulation, and the ability to follow through on meaningful goals.

I am especially passionate about helping individuals who feel stuck, unmotivated, or frustrated with themselves develop realistic and sustainable strategies for change—without shame or self-judgment. My style is collaborative, insight-oriented, and grounded in the belief that increased understanding leads to greater agency, resilience, and long-term growth.

What you can expect from me

Progress is relative—it doesn’t look the same for everyone. Together, we’ll cut through comparisons that undermine self-belief and create an approach that’s tailored specifically to you. I focus on identifying the core issues driving the symptoms that interfere with your day-to-day life. Through this work, we’ll uncover disruptive patterns and build real-world solutions that help you feel more confident in yourself while keeping toxic people and unhealthy situations at bay.
