I am passionate about being a counselor because I want to offer the same opportunity for safety and healing that I receive from my own therapy. I have had the honor of supporting people struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, and substance abuse for 10 years. I will never stop growing and learning so I am able to provide care that is knowledgeable and compassionate.

The nature of the counseling relationship is sacred and I provide a therapeutic space that honors the full range of human experiences and identities. The power of a genuine, compassionate, and affirming therapeutic relationship is in creating the safety needed for change and healing. I respect the inner wisdom of every person and believe we access our own knowledge with the right support and guidance. I am confident in the mind's ability to recover when given the right conditions and nurturing.

I have a person centered approach with training in Lifespan Integration, EMDR, and CBT. I use evidence-based practices for addressing depression, anxiety, trauma (recent and childhood), grief/loss, attachment injury, substance abuse, and stressful life transitions. I aim to know my client’s unique stories first and then collaboratively map out a treatment plan that reflects any specific needs or goals. I want to work with my clients to identify their personal path to healing and growth.
