Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Nichole. I’m a licensed professional counselor with experience in crisis intervention, substance use, and outpatient therapy.

I work especially well with first responders, law enforcement, and other high-responsibility professionals who are used to staying in control and pushing through stress. Over time, that pressure can build into burnout, irritability, anxiety, or feeling mentally “on” all the time.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is practical and focused. I use cognitive-behavioral strategies and motivational interviewing to help you understand patterns, build useful tools, and make changes that actually stick. I focus on improving day-to-day functioning, reducing stress spillover into relationships, and helping you feel more in control of how you respond to things.

Therapy with me isn’t about overanalyzing every detail of your past unless it’s helpful. It’s about figuring out what’s working, what’s not, and what needs to shift so your life feels more manageable and aligned.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll talk through what brought you in and what you’d like to see change. I’ll ask direct, thoughtful questions to understand your current stressors, work demands, and any patterns that may be contributing to what you’re dealing with.

My goal is for you to leave the session feeling heard, with greater clarity around what’s going on, and a clear, realistic plan for next steps so you’re not leaving with more questions than answers.
