Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. Providing culturally centered, trauma-informed services to individuals throughout the adult lifespan is my focus, and my approach is grounded in the belief that healing and growth happen in safe, collaborative, and affirming relationships.

My belief in the power of human potential to heal and grow at any age is rooted in my experience as an educator, researcher, and avid gardener.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, grief, loss, and major life transitions. My approach is rooted in mindfulness, emotion-focused interventions, and person-centered, trauma-informed care, all grounded in a commitment to social justice. I integrate elements of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Relational-Cultural Therapy (RCT) to foster emotional regulation, build meaningful connections, and honor each person's lived experience. My goal is to create a compassionate, collaborative space where healing, growth, and resilience can unfold.

What you can expect from me

The first session is focused on getting to know each other better and figuring out if I am a good fit for your therapeutic needs. Through our work together, clients often gain deeper insight into their emotions, increased resilience, and a greater sense of agency in their healing journey. I emphasize joy as a transformative force, helping clients not only process current concerns but also cultivate meaningful connections, self-acceptance, and holistic well-being.
