Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who believes that seeking support is a sign of strength, not weakness. My approach is compassionate, nonjudgmental, and centered on creating a safe space where you can be heard, understood, and supported.

My approach to therapy

I use evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed care, tailoring treatment to each client’s individual needs, experiences, strengths, and goals. CBT can help clients identify and change unhelpful thought and behavior patterns, while Motivational Interviewing helps individuals explore their own reasons for change and build confidence in taking meaningful steps forward. Through a trauma-informed approach, I prioritize safety, trust, empowerment, and understanding how past experiences may influence present thoughts, emotions, relationships, and behaviors.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a trusting, comfortable, and nonjudgmental therapeutic relationship. We will discuss what brings you to therapy, the challenges you are experiencing, and what you hope to accomplish through counseling. Together, we will identify meaningful goals and begin developing a treatment approach tailored to your needs, strengths, and experiences. My goal is for you to leave your first session feeling heard, respected, supported, and hopeful about the journey ahead.
