Great to meet you!

I am a clinical psychologist with over a decade of experience working with patients from a variety of backgrounds. My work with patients is rooted in psychodynamic therapy, which emphasizes insights into parts of the mind that may not be as close to the surface. I can be of most help to patients who feel ready to listen to and observe themselves.

My approach to therapy

My approach tends to be curious, warm, and focused on helping you to find new ways of understanding your current predicament. I believe that an open, non-judgmental space in which to express the full range of your experiences is essential for personal growth. It is a powerful thing to learn experientially that you can survive any corner of your mind.

What you can expect from me

Through careful listening and exploration, our work will help to clarify where you're torn between conflicting impulses and how old wounds and ways of surviving have restricted your ability to feel, work, love, and even play freely. Moments of vulnerability in therapy can be opportunities to shut down, or they can be opportunities for introspection and transformation – I pay close attention to each patient’s needs, wishes, and fears to help steer you towards the latter outcome.
