My approach to therapy

My approach to providing care is grounded in compassion, collaboration, and respect for each person’s unique story. I believe mental health care works best when clients feel truly heard and supported, so I focus on creating a calm, nonjudgmental space where open conversation can happen.

I combine evidence-based treatment with a human-centered approach—listening first, understanding the whole picture, and then working together to find what fits best. Whether that includes therapy, medication management, or lifestyle support, my goal is to empower each client with knowledge and confidence to take an active role in their healing.

Ultimately, I see care as a partnership. I strive to meet clients where they are, help them build resilience, and guide them toward meaningful, lasting change—one step at a time.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my goal is to create a welcoming, judgment free space where you can share your story at a pace that feels comfortable for you. We will talk about what brought you in, what challenges you have been facing, and what you hope to better understand or change.

I take time to learn about your history, strengths, and goals, not just your symptoms. This helps us build a treatment plan that feels personalized, practical, and supportive of where you are right now. During our conversation, I will listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, and explain your options clearly, whether that includes therapy, medication, or a combination of both.

By the end of our first meeting, my hope is that you leave feeling heard, supported, and more hopeful about the path forward.
