Great to meet you!

Hey there! You being here is huge, and I am honored to partner with you on your journey toward wellness. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and U.S. Navy veteran, having earned both my BA and Master of Social Welfare from UCLA. My professional background includes extensive experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs and Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, specializing in helping individuals navigate complex psychosocial needs, trauma, and substance use. Ultimately, I am deeply committed to helping you break down life's barriers, adapt to major transitions, and successfully reclaim your stability

My approach to therapy

I bring a curious, inquisitive mind and a highly practical, goal-oriented style to our sessions. I rely on proven, evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to help you understand your challenges and build reliable, real-world tools. My ultimate focus is an empowerment perspective—uncovering your unique internal strengths so you feel fully equipped and confident to take charge of your own path forward.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a warm, safe, and completely non-judgmental environment where your voice is truly heard. Together, we will collaboratively look at where you are right now and identify the specific, practical goals you want to achieve. You will leave that very first hour with a clear, action-oriented starting point and the reassurance that you don't have to navigate this transition alone. You can do is!
