Great to meet you!

You don’t have to have it all figured out before starting therapy. Life can be messy, overwhelming, and sometimes just plain exhausting—and you don’t have to navigate it alone. I work with young adults and adults who are navigating anxiety, stress, relationships, self-esteem, life transitions, and everything in between. My goal is to create a space where you can show up as yourself, talk openly, and feel heard without judgment. Therapy isn’t about “fixing” you—it’s about helping you better understand yourself, build confidence, and figure out what comes next.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should feel like a conversation, not a lecture. My approach is collaborative, supportive, and focused on finding what actually works for you. I draw from both Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help you better understand the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, build healthier coping skills, and recognize patterns that may be keeping you stuck. Together, we’ll work on practical strategies that fit your life, build on the strengths you already have, and help you feel more confident navigating life’s challenges. There’s no one-size-fits-all approach—therapy should fit you, not the other way around.

What you can expect from me

Think of the first session as a chance for us to get to know each other and start figuring out what you need. You don’t need to have the perfect explanation for why you’re here—or have everything figured out. We’ll talk about what’s been going on, what brought you to therapy, and what you’d like support with. You’ll have space to ask questions, share what feels comfortable, and get a feel for whether we’re a good fit. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, understood, and a little more confident about where we can go from here.
