I am a Licensed Professional Psychiatric nurse practitioner who works with clients from various walks of life, beginning at ages 18 and older who experience depression, anxiety, ADHD, learning disabilities, and relationship and emotional difficulties. No matter the reason for seeking mental health care, whether to learn how to better handle stress or to improve your relationships with family and friends. Taking the first step is very difficult and I congratulate you!
To put it simply, my approach to providing care is to create a safe environment. In practice, this means using strategies from various styles of psychotherapy--including cognitive-behavioral therapy, strengths-based, and others--to help guide you towards your goals.
During our work together, you will be able to express yourself in a safe, non-judgmental space. As a psychiatrist Nurse Practitioner I seek to collaborate with my clients and help them establish goals that they want to work on over the course of the treatment.
