Great to meet you!

Hi! I’m Nicole. I have been a social worker since 2012 and have worked extensively in the mental health field before becoming a therapist. I specialize in trauma, PTSD, and attachment injuries, specifically for women who find themselves overthinking, obsessing, and ruminating on the past. Not directly dealing with how trauma gets wired into our brain can leave us feeling anxious, depressed and stuck, trying to make sense of what happened to us. If you are struggling with a past trauma, betrayal, or relational wound that you cannot stop thinking about, feeling your memories or looping thoughts are keeping you stuck, I may be a match for you.

Through new breakthrough therapy modalities, there is so much hope and healing ahead! I only know this because I have personally walked this path; which is one reasons I became a therapist- to help women return back to themselves and reclaim their life.

My approach to therapy

I believe that understanding the how and why behind how trauma gets stored in our brain helps us move forward and eventually let go. I also believe in an individual’s incredible resilience to overcome patterns and roadblocks through self compassion and creating a deep understanding of our own wiring.

My passion in trauma healing is deep subconscious work, lessening emotional triggers, inner child work, and identifying negative core beliefs that are keeping you from a secure attachment with self.

I help clients rewire “stuck” traumatic memories that are holding them back from moving forward with Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) (similar to EMDR that can help you feel relief in just 1-4 sessions), IFS parts work, CBT and attachment work.

If you are struggling with OCD or ruminative thinking patterns, I use a combination of psychoeducation and collaborative Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) to help you start to take back all the time lost to mental reviewing and compulsions.

I am Gottman level 1 certified and also see couples with an anxious/avoidant dynamic, and love helping couples learn healthy communication.

What you can expect from me

My intake session includes taking client history, education about the modalities I use and creating a collaborative treatment plan to best fit the goals you want to work towards. If we do not vibe, please know you cannot hurt my feelings! Let me know that you might need something different and I’m more than happy to refer you to another therapist that would better fit your needs. The most important thing to me is that you feel safe and comfortable enough to be witnessed.
