Nicole Brown

I'm Nikki Brown — a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 15 years of clinical experience across some of the most human corners of this work: drug and alcohol rehabilitation, hospice and end-of-life care, and private practice. I've sat with people in the hardest moments of their lives, and I haven't looked away yet.

I specialize in grief, loss, trauma, and anxiety — but what ties my work together is a deep belief that the people I see deserve a therapist who has actually been in the room with pain, not just read about it. My sessions are warm, direct, and collaborative. I work with individuals and couples, adolescents through seniors, virtually throughout Florida.

I'm trained in CBT, ACT, somatic therapy, EFT, trauma-focused approaches, and narrative therapy — but I don't lead with a technique. I lead with curiosity. My job is to help you understand the story you've been telling yourself, and figure out whether that story is still serving you.

For grief and loss work, I create space to honor what you've been through without rushing toward "closure." For trauma and PTSD, I use evidence-based methods without making the process feel clinical or re-traumatizing. For anxiety and stress, I focus on practical tools you'll actually use between sessions — not just insight, but change.

Expect to be heard more than assessed. Our first session is mostly me getting to know you — what brought you here, what you've tried before, and what you actually want to feel differently. I'll ask some questions, but there's no intake script. I don't need you to have your thoughts perfectly organized. Show up as you are. We'll take it from there.
