Hello! My name is Nicole, she/hers pronouns, and I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of clinical experience. I have worked with multiple different populations, across the lifespan. I have been trained in different cognitive based therapeutic modalities, and specialize in trauma treatment. I am currently employed as a Clinical Supervisor in an outpatient mental health clinic, providing direct clinical support to providers and patients.
I believe therapy works best when you feel safe, supported, respected, and not judged. I strive to create a space that feels empowering, empathetic and collaborative. I approach the work patient-centered, and with your goals at the forefront of our work together. I strongly believe that you are the expert on your own life, and I am here to walk alongside you to support you and help make sense of the things you are going through or have been through that make it difficult to move forward on your individual goals.
My hope for our first session together is to start building the foundation of trust and safety while we get to know each other. We'll talk about the reasons for why you are seeking support at this time, what you're hoping to get out of our time together, and any questions or concerns you may have for me. My goal is for you to leave our first meeting together feeling heard, supported, and comfortable continuing to work with me in this journey together.
