Great to meet you!

Welcome! My name is Nicole Cook-Ficaro. For the past 18 years, I’ve had the privilege of helping children, teens, and adults navigate life’s challenges and find meaningful paths forward. I work with people from all walks of life and have experience supporting those facing anxiety, depression, grief, relationship concerns, ADD/ADHD, behavioral challenges, and other mental health needs. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and comfortable being yourself. Clients often describe me approachable and empathetic—someone who helps make you feel comfortable during difficult conversations.

My approach to therapy

I strive to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable being yourself and sharing what’s on your mind. Together, we’ll explore the challenges you’re facing, identify your strengths, and build on them to support meaningful growth and healing. My approach is collaborative and tailored to your goals, meeting you where you are and helping you discover practical tools, new perspectives, and lasting strategies that can support you in meetings your goal's.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building rapport. You’ll have a space to share your story, talk about what’s been weighing on you, and explore what you hope to gain from therapy. There’s no pressure to have all the answers—we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you. My hope is that you leave feeling heard, supported, and encouraged, with a sense that you don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone. Together, we can begin taking meaningful steps toward the changes and growth you’re seeking.
