Great to meet you!

Some things do not get easier just because time passes. If anything, the hard stuff has a way of getting louder the longer it goes unspoken. I am Nicole, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with more than a decade of experience working with adults through trauma, complex mental health concerns, and the patterns that keep showing up no matter how hard you try to move past them. I have worked in both individual therapy and intensive mental health settings, which means I am comfortable sitting with the heaviest things people carry. I bring warmth, honesty, and genuine humor to every session, because I believe good therapy does not have to be grim to be real.

My approach to therapy

Active, collaborative, and built around you. I draw from CBT, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Solution-Focused approaches, and psychodynamic and acceptance-based principles, pulling from whatever actually fits. We may process trauma, look at how your past is shaping your present, name the patterns keeping you stuck, and find practical ways to do something different. Insight matters, but only if it changes something outside the room.

What you can expect from me

By the end of our first session, you will know whether I am the right fit. That matters to me as much as it does to you. We’ll talk about what is happening in your life now, relevant experiences and relationships, what you have already tried, and what you would like to be different. You don’t need to arrive knowing exactly what your goals are or where to begin. We can figure that out together.
