Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed Mental Health Counselor providing virtual therapy in New York for teens, young adults, and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and identity challenges. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, heal from past experiences, and develop healthier ways of coping.

My approach is warm, supportive, and practical. I use evidence-based methods including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-informed therapy, mindfulness, and narrative therapy to help clients reduce anxiety, process trauma, build confidence, and improve relationships.

As a bilingual therapist, I offer therapy in English and Spanish and strive to create a culturally supportive space where clients feel understood and respected.

My approach to therapy

I integrate approaches that combine evidence-based therapy with creative tools such as mindfulness, music, and art. I also encourage clients to bring their own ideas and interests into the therapeutic process, creating a collaborative space where healing feels personal and meaningful. A central part of my work is helping clients challenge negative thought patterns and internalized beliefs that may be rooted in past trauma. I support them in shifting their perspective—from seeing life through a lens of fear and anxiety, to viewing it through a lens of peace, strength, and self-awareness. For clients who are open to it, I also welcome the integration of spirituality and religious beliefs into therapy. Whether exploring faith-based perspectives, incorporating scripture such as the Bible, or using spiritual practices, I respect and support each individual’s beliefs as part of their healing process. I recognize the positive impact that spirituality can have on mental health and well-being, and I’m honored to include that in our work when appropriate.

What you can expect from me

Therapy with me is not just about symptom management—it's a journey of uncovering your true identity, developing resilience, and learning how to walk through life’s difficulties without feeling alone. I am here to walk alongside you with compassion and encouragement. In my practice, I see therapy as a shared journey. I often describe the process as the client being the pilot and myself the co-pilot—I am here to support, guide, and navigate with you, but ultimately, you are in control of your healing path. I believe successful therapy happens when clients are active participants, ready to face challenges and move toward growth with courage and commitment.
