Great to meet you!

Currently not accepting New York based clients.

Florida clients only.

I view therapy as collaborative, with the client as the expert on their lived experience, and the therapist as a guiding, anchoring presence in the process of self exploration. I have experience in a variety of settings within and outside of the US, with clients of various nationalities and cultural backgrounds. I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, multicultural and cross cultural issues, childhood trauma, stress management, and interpersonal relationship struggles, as well as working with marginalized groups.

My approach to therapy

My style is highly reflective. We will spend time discussing past and present experiences, in order to discover their impact on your mental health, your relationships, your everyday life and more. In addition to talk therapy, I utilize a variety of mindfulness and writing exercises, in order to promote emotional awareness, mind-body connection, and stress relief.

What you can expect from me

Mental health struggles do not occur within a vacuum. They are heavily influenced by external factors, including work, friends, family, religious/cultural beliefs, hobbies, and so on. My goal within the first and second sessions is to gain a baseline understanding of those influences. I will ask questions about many areas of your life, including the issue that brought you to therapy, in order to begin to understand you as a whole person, and assess your needs within the therapy space.

Over the course of our work together, clients can expect to gain increased awareness and understanding of their internal world (emotions, memories, thoughts, etc), and it's interaction with external influences (work, relationships, large institutions, etc). They can also expect to learn several coping skills for multiple forms of stress, and learn to utilize the coping skills they already have.
