Great to meet you!

Welcome! My name is Nicole. With a decade of experience, I specialize in supporting children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges. My expertise spans a variety of settings, including outpatient, intensive in-home, wraparound services, residential, and inpatient care. I have extensive experience in addressing mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, and bipolar disorder. My passion is helping children and teens recognize and regulate their emotions, as well as assisting them in effectively communicating and expressing their feelings. I earned a Bachelor of Arts from Marymount University and a Master of Arts in Community Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), I practice in Virginia.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each client's unique needs. I believe in meeting clients where they are, creating a supportive and non-judgmental environment where they can feel heard and validated. I primarily integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to help client's identify unhelpful thought patterns, develop effective coping strategies, regulate emotions, and build healthier behaviors. Together, we work towards meaningful, sustainable change at a pace that feels right for each individual.
