Great to meet you!

Hello, so happy you are here! My name is Nicole and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC/M.Ed) in the state of Pennsylvania and practicing for about a decade now. ***NOTE- I do NOT do couples therapy anymore. I also do NOT work with children or teens anymore, thank you!

I truly love/enjoy neuroscience (overall brain health education) and have multiple trainings in this. I enjoy teaching my clients about the importance of brain health and how the body functions with the brain, and how certain mental health traits happen based on the chemistry of the brain, along with encouraging clients to practice self care, emotional regulation, and being able to think about ways of exercising healthy brain health.

I enjoy working with young professionals, also fresh out of college individuals, along with individuals that are first starting out in their careers to help them with career development. I really enjoy also working with young adults to middle age as well and helping individuals through different developmental stages, along with retirement as well.

My approach to therapy

I feel it’s super important to have a deep connection with mind and body understanding. In my experience as a psychotherapist, I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy and believe they are super important to understand along with- mindfulness skills, emotional regulation skills, trauma informed approaches and understanding Interpersonal relationships as well working on the humanistic style and interpersonal approaches in therapy as well.

What you can expect from me

In our first session together, clients will be expected to go through an intake process where we get to develop, and establish rapport with one another along with talking about treatment goals. My hope is to help clients gain more strength within themselves by helping them gain confidence and work on individualistic goals that will better their future!
