A bit about my approach to therapy

I use an approach focused on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy whichis a type of mindful psychotherapy that helps you stay focused on the present moment and accept thoughts and feelings without judgment.

It aims to help you move forward through difficult emotions so you can put your energy into healing instead of dwelling on the negative.

What you can expect from our first session

You can expect to be feel safe and understood, respected and not judged. You will take away new skills in mindfulness, regulation of emotions, and distress tolerance from our sessions. We will create a plan to focus on skills that are going to be the most useful and have the most positive impact on your life and treatment will be tailored to your needs.
