Great to meet you!

I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health and have worked in behavioral health since 2016, with experience in both community mental health and crisis settings. I work with individuals and couples navigating trauma, relationship challenges, emotional regulation, life transitions, and complex personal experiences.

My approach is collaborative, direct, and compassionate. I draw from Narrative Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Gottman Method couples counseling, along with trauma-informed practices supported by training through the Arizona Trauma Institute and the Southern Arizona Center Against Sexual Assault.

I strive to create a space where clients feel genuinely heard without judgment. I understand that life can include painful, complicated, and deeply personal experiences, and I believe therapy should be a place where those parts of your story can be explored safely and openly.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, trauma-informed, and grounded in authenticity. I believe therapy works best when clients feel safe, respected, and genuinely understood. My role is not to judge or “fix” you, but to help you better understand yourself, build effective coping skills, and create meaningful change in your life and relationships.

I draw primarily from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, and Gottman Method couples counseling. This means I help clients develop practical tools for managing emotions, communication, boundaries, and distress, while also exploring the personal experiences and stories that shape how they see themselves and interact with others.

I work with individuals and couples facing trauma, relationship difficulties, life transitions, anxiety, emotional dysregulation, and complex personal experiences. With a background in community mental health and crisis work, I am comfortable supporting clients through both everyday stressors and the more difficult or painful parts of life.

Above all, I aim to create a therapeutic space where clients feel heard, supported, and able to show up as their full selves.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect the first session to feel conversational, supportive, and focused on getting to know what brings them to therapy. We’ll discuss your current concerns, relevant background information, goals for treatment, and any questions or hesitations you may have about the therapy process.

I also use the first session to better understand your strengths, relationships, coping patterns, and what has or hasn’t been helpful for you in the past. Together, we’ll begin identifying what you would like to gain from therapy and what approach may best support your needs.

My goal is for clients to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer sense of direction moving forward.
