Great to meet you!

I'm a compassionate and experienced psychotherapist with more than 20 years of experience in social services and a deep commitment to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity, confidence, and peace.

My journey into helping others began long before her professional career. From an early age, I discovered the importance of creating spaces where people felt comfortable speaking openly, being themselves, and knowing they mattered. That early passion for service ultimately became a lifelong calling to support the emotional and mental well-being of others.

As a therapist, I bring together clinical knowledge, life experience, and a calm, compassionate presence. She understands that beginning therapy can feel vulnerable, and I strive to create an environment where clients feel respected, understood, and free from judgment. I believe that asking for help is not a sign of weakness—it is an act of courage. I meet clients where they are, without judgment, while gently encouraging growth and meaningful change.

My goal is to help you move beyond simply getting through the day and toward building a life that feels more balanced, fulfilling, and authentically yours.

My approach to therapy

A Collaborative Approach to Healing

I utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing, tailoring treatment to each client’s individual needs, goals, and experiences.

Therapy with me is not about simply telling you what to do. It is about working together to understand what you are experiencing, identify patterns that may be holding you back, develop effective coping strategies, and discover the strengths you already possess.

Whether you are struggling with anxiety, adjusting to an ADHD diagnosis, navigating a major life transition, experiencing relationship or emotional challenges, or simply feeling stuck, I provide a supportive space to explore what is happening and determine what comes next.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel exciting, uncertain, or even a little intimidating. You may wonder what you’re supposed to say, whether you’ll be judged, or if therapy will actually help. There is no “right” way to begin.

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another, talk about what brought you to therapy, and begin identifying what you would like to be different in your life.

Together, we’ll explore what you hope to gain from therapy. Your goals may be very specific, such as managing anxiety, improving relationships, navigating an ADHD diagnosis, or developing healthier coping strategies. Or you may simply know that something doesn’t feel right and you want help understanding why.

We’ll work together to identify meaningful and realistic goals that fit your needs.

You don’t need to come prepared with the perfect explanation of what you’re feeling. You don’t need to know exactly what you need from therapy.

Just come as you are.

My role is to listen without judgment, help you make sense of what you’re experiencing, and provide a supportive environment where you can begin moving toward greater understanding, healing, and change.

Your first session isn’t about having all the answers. It’s about taking the first step.
