Great to meet you!

I have over 20 years in the industry and currently only work virtually, seeing individuals. I also have certification as a Behavior Analyst but no longer work with children.

During the pandemic, I saw an influx of clients seeking therapy for relational issues and this soon became my passion. I have 2 levels of certification in the Gottman Method and also integrate the Developmental Model into my practice. The majority of my practice is based on relational growth in the individual therapy setting.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is client-centered and I pull from Internal Family Systems Therapy, CBT, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). The approach is largely based on what would benefit each individual client the most after our initial therapy session together. I have received Certification for Completion for Level 1 and Level 2 Gottman Method Couples Therapy and also use the Developmental model when I see clients.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect collaboration when working with me. The initial session consists of gathering a psychosocial history. While circumstances from the past can influence our current functioning, I try to get to the core of what's working and what's not working so we can develop the best strategies to get you to where you want to be. My goal is to help you determine goals that are specific and measurable in order to evaluate (not judge) your progress.
