Great to meet you!

Taking the first step toward counseling can feel overwhelming, but you don't have to face life's challenges alone. Seeking counseling is an investment in yourself and your future. I consider it a privilege to walk alongside individuals and families as they navigate difficult seasons, discover their strengths, and work toward healing, hope, and lasting personal growth. With more than 25 years of experience serving children, adolescents, adults, and families, I've had the opportunity to help individuals navigate a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral concerns, parenting struggles, family conflict, life transitions, and relationship difficulties.

I earned my Master's degree in Counseling Psychology and believe that every person has strengths that can be built upon to create meaningful, lasting change.

Throughout my career, I have worked extensively with children and families, youth involved in the juvenile justice system, at-risk adolescents, and adults seeking personal growth, improved relationships, and greater life satisfaction. My background also includes helping individuals develop job readiness skills and supporting adults in achieving educational and career goals.

For clients who desire it, I offer Christian faith-based counseling that thoughtfully integrates biblical principles with evidence-based therapeutic practices. I believe faith can be a powerful source of healing and hope, and I am honored to support clients who wish to incorporate their relationship with God into the counseling process. Whether you are seeking traditional counseling or faith-integrated therapy, my goal is to help you find healing, resilience, and practical tools to move forward with confidence.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, compassionate, and collaborative, providing a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered. I utilize evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Trauma-Informed Care, and Motivational Interviewing, tailoring treatment to meet each client's unique needs and goals.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we'll spend time getting to know one another and discussing what brought you to counseling. You'll have the opportunity to share your concerns, what is most important to you, and what you hope to achieve through therapy. We'll review your intake information, answer any questions you have about the counseling process, and begin developing a treatment plan that reflects your goals and values. Whether you are seeking traditional counseling or wish to incorporate your Christian faith into therapy, our work together will be guided by your individual needs and preferences. My goal is for you to leave our first session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the path ahead.
