Great to meet you!

I am a USC MSW graduate who has obtained my LCSW/LCADC with experience working in a variety of settings and levels of care. I have specialized in the substance use and mental health treatment of teens and adults. For the last several years, focusing on the LGBTQIA+ community, earning Social Innovation Awards for my part in the creation of a successful program for the population two years in a row.

My approach to therapy

I believe you are the expert on your own life. My role is to meet you where you are and work alongside you to create meaningful, lasting change in a way that feels authentic and achievable.

I use a collaborative, person-centered approach and draw from evidence-based modalities including CBT, DBT, and solution-focused therapy. Together, we focus on understanding patterns, building practical skills, and identifying strengths you can use right away.

I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered. Therapy with me is a partnership—one that prioritizes compassion, clarity, and forward movement.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin building a foundation of trust. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you’re hoping to change, and what has or hasn’t worked explaining things in the past—at your pace, without pressure.

I create a calm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you can be honest and feel heard. Together, we’ll begin identifying initial goals or areas of focus, whether that’s managing emotions, reducing stress, improving relationships, or building healthier coping skills. You don’t need to have everything figured out—clarity often comes through the process.

By the end of the session, most clients leave with a clearer sense of direction, a better understanding of how therapy can help, and often a practical takeaway or next step to support you between sessions.
