Great to meet you!

Hello! I'm Nicole, a NYS-licensed mental health counselor who specializes in supporting adults and adolescents. I have experience working with depression, anxiety, self-esteem concerns, women's/men's issues, relationship challenges, and more complex mental health conditions, including schizophrenia and bipolar disorder as well.

My approach to therapy

Therapy with me is empowering, non-judgmental, and evidence-based.

Therapy is a collaborative process in which we can work together to see what works for you, in my opinion, there is no "one shoe fits all" approach. My work with clients draws on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and Solution-Focused therapies.

The most important element of effective therapy is a good client/therapist relationship.

What you can expect from me

My clients say I’m easy to talk to because I "keep it real" with them. If you are picturing a therapist who sits back silently- this is not it! I am engaged. I listen, and I reflect. I will ask questions and offer interpretations. I will work with you to identify beliefs, challenge thoughts, and help reframe thinking patterns. I always bring my authentic self to sessions and can't wait to get started supporting you.
