Great to meet you!

Nicole Meade is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Certified Midwife. She spent over 13 years as a Midwife and Nurse Practitioner in Obstetrics and Gynecology treating women across the reproductive cycle before obtaining her Post-Masters Certificate in the Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Program from Pace University. She has also received her Masters in Midwifery from Frontier Nursing University, B.S. in Nursing from New York University.

My approach to therapy

Nicole uses her vast experience as an advanced practice nurse to meet clients where they are, recommend holistic interventions that can improve mental health outcomes, and provide thoughtful education around the benefits and potential side effects of medications. Her warm and personable style helps her connect with clients who may be seeking treatment for the first time, or have had negative experiences with providers in the past.

What you can expect from me

The first visit is a full psychiatric evaluation to assess symptoms of mood, anxiety, or executive functioning concerns. After a comprehensive assessment which may take 1-2 visits, Nicole will discuss her impression and recommendations, allowing room for a collaborative discussion and a plan moving forward.
