Dr. Nicole Nguyen

Dr. Nicole Nguyen is a board-certified adult psychiatrist. She attained her Bachelor of Arts in Biology with a minor in Cultural Anthropology at the University of Southern California prior to returning to her home state of Texas to complete both her medical school and residency training at UT Health San Antonio. She specializes in medication management & working with adult populations with concerns for ADHD, bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, LGBTQ+ issues, OCD, and PTSD and more

Dr. Nguyen aims to demonstrate compassion while understanding her patients as individuals, taking into account their goals and backgrounds in formulating a treatment plan.

Initial consultation sessions include a 1 hour comprehensive psychiatric evaluation where she will gather information about patients' current situation, past medical, psychiatric, and social history. She aims to include patients in shared, informed decision making about treatment options.

During 30 minute follow up visits, Dr. Nguyen will focus on medication management as well as providing brief, supportive psychotherapy regarding additional patient concerns during the remaining time.
