Great to meet you!

I believe therapy should feel like a collaborative conversation—not a place where you feel judged or told what to do. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself while also feeling supported, challenged, and empowered to grow.

I work with adolescents and adults (ages 12 and up) who are navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, life transitions, grief, stress, self-esteem, emotional regulation, and communication difficulties. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply looking to understand yourself on a deeper level, we'll work together to identify meaningful goals and create lasting change.

My approach is holistic, strengths-based, and tailored to you. I draw from evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness practices. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I integrate techniques that best fit your personality, values, and goals.

Clients often describe my style as warm, authentic, direct, and compassionate. I believe healing happens through a strong therapeutic relationship, honest conversations, and practical tools that you can apply in everyday life. Together, we'll build greater self-awareness, strengthen resilience, develop healthier coping strategies, and create sustainable habits that support both your emotional and physical well-being.

I welcome individuals from all backgrounds, cultures, and belief systems and strive to provide an inclusive, nonjudgmental environment where you can feel heard, understood, and supported. Wherever you are in your journey, I'd be honored to help you take the next step toward the life you want to create.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to you. I believe that no two people are alike, which is why I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Together, we'll explore what's bringing you to therapy, identify your strengths, and create a plan that aligns with your goals and the life you want to build.

I integrate evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based interventions, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills. Rather than focusing solely on symptom reduction, I help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and life experiences while developing practical tools they can use outside of our sessions.

Above all, I strive to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and accepted—while also feeling gently challenged to grow. Therapy isn't about having all the answers; it's about working together to better understand yourself, navigate life's challenges, and build healthier patterns that support lasting change. Whether you're working through anxiety, trauma, relationship concerns, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck, my hope is that you'll leave each session with greater clarity, increased confidence, and practical strategies you can begin using right away.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a strong therapeutic relationship. My goal is to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel comfortable sharing your story at your own pace. There is no pressure to have everything figured out or know exactly where to begin—we'll work through it together.

During our first session, we'll talk about what brings you to therapy, explore your current concerns, review any relevant history, and discuss the goals you'd like to work toward. We'll also begin identifying your strengths, patterns, and any obstacles that may be getting in the way of the life you want to create. Together, we'll develop a treatment plan that feels meaningful, realistic, and tailored to your unique needs.

Whenever appropriate, I like to provide practical tools or strategies that you can begin using between sessions, because I believe therapy should offer more than insight alone. My hope is that you leave feeling heard, understood, and supported, with a clearer sense of direction and confidence in the work we'll do together. Most importantly, I want you to know that you don't have to navigate life's challenges alone—I'm here to walk alongside you every step of the way.
