Nicole Patten

So I graduated from Valdosta State University in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and a master’s degree in social work in May 2015. I received my associate licensure in Social Work as of August 2015 and full licensure in Clinical Social Work as of April 2019. I have actively worked in the field of social work taking on diverse roles and responsibilities since 2012. Big loves in my life include my husband, rescue dogs, traveling, and The University of Georgia Football. GO DAWGS!

My knowledge and training of trauma informed, evidence based, and basic neuroscience-based strategies including Polyvagal, various forms of Cognitive Behavioral, and Solution Focused therapies allow me to meet you where you are and be flexible in our approach so we can ultimately move you forward to a different way of living in a direct and empowering way.

I believe to truly support those around you, you must first be found. I did not set out to become a therapist, but the purpose I have found in this field is remarkable. I am most looking forward to using my knowledge and training, along with my lived experience, to add value to your life from the start by creating a safe person-centered environment, gathering your story, forming a plan to create change at your own pace, and focus on improving your overall quality of living.
