Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and Family Nurse Practitioner with a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree. I provide psychiatric evaluation and medication management for adults experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, sleep difficulties, and other mental health symptoms.

My background in both psychiatric and medical care allows me to consider the whole clinical picture, including physical health conditions, medications, sleep, lifestyle factors, and other issues that may contribute to psychiatric symptoms. My goal is to provide thoughtful, evidence-based care while making sure you understand your diagnosis and treatment options.

My approach to therapy

My approach begins with understanding what you are experiencing, how your symptoms affect your daily life, and what you hope to improve. Treatment may include medication when clinically appropriate, education about your diagnosis and treatment options, and supportive or therapeutic interventions during appointments.

I believe medication decisions should be thoughtful and individualized. We will discuss potential benefits, risks, alternatives, and your preferences so that you can participate actively in decisions about your care. I also consider medical conditions, current medications, sleep, stressors, and other factors that may affect mental health symptoms.

What you can expect from me

You can expect appointments to be structured, respectful, and focused on your individual concerns and treatment goals. During an initial evaluation, we will review your symptoms, psychiatric and medical history, medications, and other factors that may help clarify the diagnosis and appropriate treatment options.

Follow-up visits focus on your response to treatment, medication effectiveness and tolerability, changes in symptoms or functioning, and whether adjustments are needed. My goal is for you to leave each appointment understanding the treatment plan, why it is being recommended, and what we are working toward together.
