Great to meet you!

I work with adults navigating identity, grief, trauma, adoption, cultural displacement, creative blocks, and complicated family relationships. Many of my clients feel caught between worlds — between families, cultures, languages, roles, or versions of themselves. As a Board Certified Art Therapist and LMFT, I offer therapy that can include both verbal processing and creative, somatic, and relational approaches. We move at your pace, with room for what is hard to name.

I offer free 15-minute consultations so you can get a sense of whether working together feels like a fit.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, grounded, and trauma-informed. Some sessions may look like traditional talk therapy; others may include image-making, writing, somatic awareness, EMDR-informed work, or other creative methods when words are not enough. I pay close attention to pacing, consent, attachment, grief, and the body’s signals. You do not need to be “good at art” to work this way. Art therapy is not about making something impressive; it is about having another way to notice, express, and understand what you are carrying.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a therapist who is warm, direct, thoughtful, and steady. Together, we may explore how your past continues to live in your body, relationships, creativity, sense of belonging, or ability to trust yourself. I often work with adult adoptees, artists and creative people, people with complex family histories, and those moving through loss that others may not fully recognize. My goal is not to rush you toward a neat resolution, but to help you build more connection, choice, and self-understanding.
