I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida. I graduated from Florida International University with my undergraduate degree in Psychology, and later earned my graduate degree in Clinical Psychology from Barry University. I have 10 years of experience in substance abuse treatment and the treatment of co-occurring disorders, and nine years of experience in education.
I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, anger, relationship issues, self-esteem, abuse, and trauma. I also completed an EMDRIA Approved Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Training (EMDR) in 2019.
I believe that change happens when people are provided with the guidance and support they need to draw on their own strengths and realize their potential. I provide an environment of compassion and encouragement to help individuals and families overcome obstacles to move forward and lead happy, fulfilling lives.
