Great to meet you!

Hello, and welcome! I'm glad you're here. Taking the first step toward improving your mental health can feel overwhelming, and my goal is to make the process as comfortable and supportive as possible. I strive to create a safe, judgment-free space where you feel heard, respected, and involved in every decision about your care.

I earned my Master of Science in Nursing as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Purdue University. Before becoming a PMHNP, I worked as a registered nurse at Nicklaus Children's Hospital, where I cared for children and adolescents with a wide range of medical and behavioral health needs. I also completed my clinical training there, giving me valuable experience caring for patients across different stages of life.

I work with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults and specialize in treating depression, anxiety, ADHD, and insomnia. I believe mental health care should be personalized because every person's story is different. My goal is to help you feel supported, understood, and empowered as we work together toward lasting wellness

My approach to therapy

I believe the best care starts with listening. My approach is collaborative and holistic, which means we look at the whole picture—not just your symptoms. Together, we'll explore what's contributing to how you're feeling and create a treatment plan that fits your goals, values, and lifestyle.

I believe you should have a voice in your treatment. I'll explain your options, whether that includes medication, therapy, lifestyle changes, or other evidence-based approaches, so you can make informed decisions that feel right for you. My role is to provide guidance, answer your questions, and support you every step of the way.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is all about getting to know you. We'll talk about what brought you to seek care, your symptoms, medical and mental health history, and the goals you'd like to achieve. This is also your opportunity to ask questions and share any concerns you may have.

By the end of the visit, we'll review my assessment, discuss your treatment options, and create a personalized plan together. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and confident that you have a partner in your mental health journey.
