Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), in FL and WA states, with experience supporting individuals navigating anxiety, PTSD/trauma, burnout, and life transitions. My background includes working with high-functioning adults, veterans, and individuals in demanding roles who are managing stress while trying to maintain daily responsibilities.

My approach is structured, goal-focused, and practical. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to help clients identify patterns, build effective coping strategies, and create meaningful, lasting change. I focus on helping clients not only understand what they’re experiencing, but also develop tools they can apply in their daily lives.

I believe therapy should feel collaborative, supportive, and purposeful. My goal is to provide a space where you feel understood while also working toward clear progress—helping you reduce symptoms, improve functioning, and regain a sense of control and confidence.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is structured, collaborative, and goal-focused. I work with clients to identify what is not working, define clear goals, and develop practical strategies that can be applied in everyday life. While there is space to process experiences, sessions are intentionally focused on helping you move forward with clarity and confidence.

I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to support both insight and action. This allows us to address unhelpful thought patterns, build effective coping skills, and strengthen decision-making and emotional regulation.

For clients navigating PTSD or trauma, I take a paced, supportive approach that prioritizes safety, stability, and readiness. We focus on building coping skills and reducing emotional reactivity before gradually working through the impact of past experiences.

Overall, my style is practical, supportive, and results-oriented. My goal is to help you reduce symptoms, improve daily functioning, and develop the tools needed to maintain long-term progress.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a supportive, structured, and focused environment. We’ll begin by discussing what brings you in, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you would like to change or improve. You don’t need to have everything figured out—this is a space to start where you are.

I’ll ask questions to better understand your current challenges, patterns, and goals. Together, we’ll begin identifying 1–2 clear areas of focus and outline what progress could look like over the next 6–8 weeks.

By the end of the session, you can expect to have a clearer direction, an initial plan, and at least one practical step to begin working on between sessions. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and with a sense of where we’re headed.
