Great to meet you!

I work with adults navigating a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma recovery, adjustment to life transitions, relationship problems, grief and loss, work difficulties, parenting issues, caregiving, health issues and chronic pain--and overall life stress. I use a holistic approach, honoring the mind-body connection and individual needs, strengths and resources. I have a degree in clinical social work from Fordham University and am certified in EMDR.

My approach to therapy

For over 10 years I've treated anxiety, depression, trauma, transitions, relationship problems, and work difficulties. I have worked with 9/11 first responders and Sandy Hook survivors. My approach is holistic, honoring the mind-body connection and individual strengths. My style is warm, honest and nonjudgmental, and my practice draws from psychodynamic psychotherapy, mindfulness, EMDR and attachment-based neuroscience.

What you can expect from me

Sharing our stories with a caring professional can make us feel truly seen and heard. It can help us find solutions for problems, improve our sense of self and our relationships, provide safety and warmth, and help us find a greater depth of meaning in our lives. It is not always easy--but it is often the very best investment you can make in yourself and your own life.
