Great to meet you!

Hello! I have been helping individuals, families, and couples for over 20 years communicate more effectively, regulate their emotions, and build skills to tolerate anxiety and depression. I have a background in attachment theory and family systems, and extensive training and experience in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I have a warm approach to therapy and try to help my patients reframe their experiences to help them feel empowered.

A bit about my approach to therapy

A typical session with me is 50-60 minutes, and at the beginning of each session I collaborate with my patient to set the agenda for the session. I want to maximize the benefit for my patients in each session and I frequently check in about topics the patient brings into session to make sure we cover the most pressing issues in a timely fashion.

What you can expect from our first session

My clients can expect to take away a sense of being validated for their experiences, that I truly understand what was presented, and have formulated some goals with skills building to help them feel goal directed and more hopeful.
